Our products are not only used for the jerseys of FC Barcelona or the NBA Draft, but also enable small brands to realize their dream of their own textile finishing business.

Then as now:
Innovation and passion

More than 90 years ago, STAHLS' was not yet an internationally known brand. Back then, there was only A.C. and Ethel Stahl, who used a hand punch to make letters and numbers for sportswear. A small company developed that was soon known throughout Detroit.

Over the years, STAHLS' has established itself as a pioneer in the industry. From the world's first co-polymer film (Thermo-FILM®) in 1967 to the first commercial use of waterjet cutting machines in 1979, many products that have become an integral part of the textile finishing industry today are thanks to the innovators at STAHLS'.

The goal has always been to offer customers the best possible products for their printing projects. STAHLS' has an answer to every question - and if necessary, we develop our own printing solutions to meet our customers' challenges.

1980 - 1985

Within less than 50 years, STAHLS' was established as a company throughout the USA. The company wanted to extend this success to the European market in order to help textile printers worldwide build a successful textile printing business.
STAHLS' Europe GmbH, based in Dillingen/Saar, was founded in 1980.

From then on, we were also able to supply the European market with our first-class materials and transfer presses. We built our own production lines and opened a customer center that is now one of the most reliable in the world.

We produce screen printing, digital printing and DTF transfers on over 400 square meters, we are available to our customers for any questions and have all Hotronix® transfer presses in stock at all times.

Hotronix® und CAD-CUT®

Hotronix® was founded in 1986. At that time, the requirements for textile finishing were becoming increasingly specific. A solution was needed with which textile decorators could realize their individual ideas themselves - with a transfer press that was specially designed to meet the needs of thermal transfer printing. This is how the first swing-away press from Hotronix® was developed. To this day, Hotronix® stands for unbeatable quality and perfect printing results.

Of course, the innovations didn't stop there! Thermo-FILM® was further developed and made into one of the easiest films in the world to process: since 1992, you have been able to cut your own motifs with CAD-CUT®, regardless of the quantity. You don't have to mass produce your motifs, but can also accept orders for small quantities. CAD-CUT® now includes more than 20 different materials, from CAD-CUT® Glitter to CAD-CUT® Glow. From now on, these textile printing films could be ordered in rolls in order to create motifs flexibly, depending on the quantity ordered. The weeded motifs were then simply printed within a few seconds using a transfer press. Thanks to the provision of presses and films, STAHLS' now gave everyone the opportunity to offer high-quality textile finishing.
